Founded in 1891, Rice University is a private research institution in Houston, Texas, that is consistently ranked among the nation’s top 20 universities by the U.S. News and World Report. Founded in 1960, Houston Baptist University (HBU) is a private Baptist university in Houston, Texas. The University’s aim is the establishment of a Christian college of the highest order in the city of Houston that stressed quality of life as well as the quality of learning.
HBU has various undergraduate, graduate, and online programs to offer. Undergraduate majors and programs include accounting, biblical languages, chemistry, criminal justice, government, interdisciplinary studies, legal studies, and kinesiology.
